Sea King Defensive Aids Independent Technical Evaluation (ITE)

To provide an Independent Technical Evaluation (ITE) of the processes leading to Clearance with Limited Evidence (CLE) 

Project Description:

Cranfield Defence successfully carried out an Independent Technical Evaluation for a Service Modification on Sea King ASaC, i.e. Carson Main Rotor Blades and an Agusta Westland five composite blade Tail Rotor. As part of this task, Cranfield Defence carried out a broad technical evaluation that included aspects of instrumentation, data acquisition, flight trials, analytical processes, stress, fatigue and lifing calculations.
