Cranfield Aerospace Ltd (CAe) is pleased to announce that it is now providing support services for both the UK’s Army Historic Flight and Navy Historic Flight.
Both collections include iconic aircraft from their respective services. All aircraft are kept in a flying condition and feature regularly at airshows across Britain.
CAe has been contracted by the MoD Project Team supporting both collections to act as Independent Technical Evaluator. We will be reviewing the Structural Airworthiness of the Army’s Sioux & Alouette helicopters, Auster aircraft and the Navy’s Sea Hawk jet, as part of the ongoing work to keep these aircraft flying.
CAe was delighted to have won this contract, which builds on our broad and growing experience in Historic Aircraft Services.
